We hear a lot about “rhetoric” in today’s world. Some say that “hate speech” should be illegal. The problem with offensive speech is that everyone has their own level or standard. How would you outlaw something on the shifting sands of man’s standards? We see an ultimate standard in God’s word and it must offend.
