We see an onslaught in today’s culture of pride. Pride is behind just about all other sins and emboldens the sinner in them. When pride is lifted up, those who are living in contrast to the Word of God feel more comfortable. This is a false comfort. Pride, just as any other sin, leads to death. Those who revel in the pride spirit of this age will be judged as God resists and opposes the proud. God is love. Without Him, there is no love.
